Bree von Bradsky (she/they) is an experimental documentarian, filmmaker, and educator born in Plainfield, New Jersey. Beginning their career as an editor for the National Women’s Hall of Fame, they went on to work as a freelance videographer and video editor whilst living in Vietnam, Mongolia, and New Zealand.  

In 2021, Bree completed their MFA in Experimental and Documentary Arts at Duke University and was the recipient of the 2021/2022 Post-MFA Cinematic Arts Teaching Fellowship. The areas of study in which Bree specializes in include queer cinema, recycled cinema, film editing, and experimental filmmaking.

While residing in North Carolina, Bree continues to work as an artist and freelance filmmaker, editor, and miniature set designer, and has worked on projects for the Resource Center for Women and Ministry in the South, Rural Advancement Foundation International (RAFI), the Geneva Music Festival, and with experimental artists Shambhavi Kaul and Camila Moreiras.
